This warranty policy outlines the coverage, terms, and process for any warranty claims related to purchases made on our official website: feihuebike.com.

For Original Purchaser

We offer a 2-year limited warranty on all FEIHU electric bikes, excluding wear-and-tear components. This warranty starts from the day the original purchaser receives the bike.

For Subsequent Owners

FEIHU extends the 2-year limited warranty to subsequent owners of our electric bikes, provided they can supply proof of the original purchase, such as the original owner’s name and the original order number. The warranty period is calculated from the date the original owner received the bike, not the subsequent owner.

 

CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY

To maintain the validity of your warranty:

  • Use your e-bike by the instructions provided in the user manual.
  • Perform regular maintenance as recommended.
  • Avoid unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  • Use only FEIHU-approved parts and accessories.

 

WARRANTY COVERAGE

1. Frame Warranty

FEIHU eBike frames are covered by a 2-year replacement warranty. This coverage applies to defects in material or workmanship and includes only the replacement frame. Labor charges associated with transferring parts to the new frame are not covered.

Replacement Process: FEIHU will assess the frame’s condition and determine if it qualifies for replacement. We reserve the right to use refurbished or cosmetic damage stock for replacements. If a particular frame style or color is out of stock, we will provide a compatible alternative.

Exclusions: The following issues are not covered under the frame warranty:

  • Corrosion
  • Paint fading, scratches, or impact marks
  • Impact damage from accidents or improper use
  • Modifications such as drilling or welding
  • Chain guard mounted to the frame (if applicable)

2. Battery Warranty

A 2-year prorated warranty covers FEIHU batteries.

During the first 2 years: Defective batteries will be repaired or replaced free of charge. The warranty period for a repaired or replaced battery does not extend; it remains tied to the original purchase date.

Assessment and Claim Process: Only FEIHU can assess and determine whether a battery is defective. Customers must provide detailed information, including photos or videos of the battery, its serial number, and its performance issues. For replacement or repair, batteries must not show evidence of tampering.

Exclusions: The battery warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from improper charging (e.g., using a non-approved charger)
  • Tampering with the battery or broken seals
  • Use of the battery in equipment other than the FEIHU bike for which it was designed
  • Ordinary wear and tear, scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage
  • Damage caused by accidents, improper storage, or exposure to extreme conditions (e.g., flooding, fire)

3. Wear-and-Tear Components

Wear-and-tear items are subject to normal usage and are not covered under this warranty unless there is a manufacturing defect. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Tires and tubes
  • Brake pads and discs
  • Chains and sprockets
  • Handlebar grips
  • Saddle
  • Pedals and crankset
  • Lights and reflectors

 

CLAIM PROCESS

To file a warranty claim, follow these steps:

  • Contact FEIHU Support: Send an email to us with the order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting media such as photos or videos.

  • Provide Documentation: Include any required documentation, such as photos or videos of the damaged or defective parts. Diagnostic data from the display system may be requested for issues with major components like the battery or motor.

  • Troubleshooting: Our technical team may guide you through troubleshooting steps remotely. If the issue cannot be resolved, we will instruct you on how to proceed with the warranty claim.

  • Repair or Replacement: If approved, defective parts will either be repaired or replaced. In some cases, you may need to ship the affected component back to FEIHU for further inspection.

  • Warranty Process Time: We strive to process all warranty claims within 7-14 business days upon receiving all necessary information and documentation. Repaired or replacement parts will be shipped promptly after approval.

 

SHIPPING COSTS

FEIHU covers shipping costs for warranty-related repairs or replacements within the first 30 days after purchase.

After 30 days, the customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty claims.

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

FEIHU’s liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective components as outlined in this warranty. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, inconvenience, or injury resulting from the use of the product.
